Constance Jablonski Stars in New Estee Lauder Promo Vid with Makeup Director Tom Pecheux

Constance Jablonski Stars in New Estee Lauder Promo Vid with Makeup Director Tom Pecheux | Grazia Beauty

We told you how madly in love we are with the new Estee Lauder Autumn/Winter collection, and now there is a new campaign video featuring Tom Pecheux, the Creative Makeup Director who designed it! The video features him and model Constance Jablonski touring Paris at night, which was his inspiration for the velvety, sparkling colours.

The video shows a casual stroll as Pecheux occasionally remarks on his inspirations for the collection, usually famous Parisian landmarks. ‘I created a very shimmery gold,’ he says of colour Nouveau Riche, ‘as that’s what the Eiffel Tower becomes at night.’ We then see his appropriately named Black Plum polish, an emulsion of black blue and purple that was inspired by the impressive the Fontaine de la Concorde, as well as the sparkly beige that recalls the stones of Pont Neuf.

After witnessing grandiose landmarks, the video switches to a more dream-like atmosphere, reflect ing the intensity of the hues. Constance plays on carousels and gazes onto the Seine with her perfectly manicured nails, bewitched by the city. She says the black green Viper is her fave of the collection. We have to agree it’s gorgeous, but how do we choose?!

Going from dream to sweet romance, Pecheux playfully gives Constance flowers, and as she twirls around she comments on the stars of the collection, the purple hues of Smashed and Bete Noir: ‘They are amazing!’ She then bites into a Parisian pastry that we’re all too jealous to watch her eat, but we’ll happily take the purple glam nails instead. Click through the gallery to see if you’re as inspired by Paris at night as we are- we’ve got our mani-pedi’s at the ready!

Watch Blake Lively in Her Brand New Video For Gucci Premire

Watch Blake Lively in Her Brand New Video For Gucci Première | Grazia Beauty

If there’s anyone that knows how to pull a massive red carpet showstopper out of her beauty bag it’s the ridiculously gorgeous Blake Lively. Recently however, the actress has revealed that she actually finds the red carpet super intimidating. Luckily, the clever clogs has come up with a unique way of overcoming her insecurities…Namely by imagining that she’s Marilyn Monroe!

“I have insecurities like any girl,” said the Gossip Girl star. “Walking the red carpet is scary so I pretend to be Marilyn Monroe – someone who owned their sexuality and projected this incredible aura of self-confidence.”

Now we think about it , our Blake does seem to have been paying a more obvious Marilln homages recently, particularly since she was announced as the face of Gucci’s new fragrance Première, repeatedly stepping out rocking knockout curves, vinta ge curls and one-off Gucci gowns. Well, if you've got it, flaunt it!

In the words of Gucci creative director Frida Giannini, the new scent has been designed for a beautiful, successful woman who is ‘living her moment, whether it’s on the red carpet or at a private dinner.’ Blake certainly looks as though she smells divine so we say a good choice there, Gucci.

And now the luxury brand have posted a short film for the fragrance on Youtube in which the actress gazes out the window of the Sheats Goldstein Residence in Beverly Hills, before spritzing herself with the scent and making her way over to the elevator. As she descends, she imagines herself at a photo shoot in the desert, walking in a very un-desert-ish outfit towards a large fan.  Unplaus able but fabulous, it’s lucky we’re too busy swooning at a very hot Blake to debate the terribly sandy situaiton that we imagine would incur if one were to put a giant fan in the desert.

Try the Latest Weight Loss Fragrance

Erm so don’t laugh, but as crazy as it sounds, we think that might have found a fragrance that helps you lose weight.   Yup you heard us correctly. The famous French perfume powerhouse that is Roberet has teamed up with brand Veld’s to create Prends Moi Eau de Minceur Spray, which claims to be the world’s very first slimming fragrance. That’s right, a spray fragrance that promotes weight loss!

Want to know how it all works? Apparently ‘aromatherapeutic’ and ‘neurocosmetic’ research has been used to create a scent that ‘slims with pleasure.’ This powerhouse perfume is packed with ingredients that are designed to stimulate fat burning as well as improve the wearer’s overall well-being. As ‘slimming’ and &l squo;pleasure’ are not two words that normally cohabit naturally it’s certainly an intriguing concept!

Still confused? Well, the scent contains Betaphroline, which once sprayed on the skin causes a reaction with B-endorphins, sending our brains a message to chill out and relax. ‘These pleasurable feelings are able to reduce compulsive eating behaviour, which are most of the time caused by anxiety and stress, and not by real hunger,’ explains the fragrance’s nose. And when you feel calm, you’re less likely to hit the fridge.  Clever huh!

Not only that, but a ‘Slimming Complex,’ within the fragrance (a combination of caffeine, carnitine, and spirulina if you’re interested), inhibits the production of ‘fat building enzymes’ too. This means that the spray will target fat deposits and stimulate their destruction. Okay, now we’re VERY intrigued.

To add some trial weight to t his ‘miracle’ weight-lifter, the French research group BIO-EC conducted a study of non-dieting women aged between 18 and 70 using the product regularly for 28 days. The results found that 73% felt a ‘feeling of pleasure, while 75% felt it lowered their desire to snack.

While more research needs to be done to see if this is a new beauty staple or just another fad, this product already has a waiting list of loyal consumers. The wait for weight loss maybe a while, but the product is currently available at The Fragrance Shop for £29.99.

How-To: Get Your Hair Sports Ready With These Styles Designed By Sam McKnight

Remember when you got told off at high school for having your hair down in PE. Well sports up-dos don't necessarily mean scrunchie ponytails. Grazia Daily met up with Sam McKnight to find out how to trade in our sweaty gym frizz for a glam look on the sports pitch.

Taking inspiration from catwalk styles he showed us how to get two sports ready hair styles. His top tips for keeping the hair neat all day? Make sure your hair is off your face, make sure it's in a tight style and keep a leave-in conditioner in it.

The first style he showed us was a streamlined ponytail, kept sleek by pinning the front inch of hair back separately to the rest.

The second style was this braided look, plaiting the front and side sections of the hair and then pinning them in a bun.

Which do you prefer?

Have You Seen Mila Kunis In the New Dior Campaign? She Looks HOT!

Have You Seen Mila Kunis In the New Dior Campaign? She Looks HOT! | Grazia Beauty

Not surprisingly, we’re swooning over the new Miss Dior Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign. It stars the gorgeous Mila Kunis who is fronting the handbag line for her second year in a row. Good on ya Mila!  The teaser has a 60’s French film noir feel to it and shows Mila surrounded by photographers being mad a fuss of - so not that different to her real life then. Filmed in black and white, Mila looks proud and in control amongst the pap chaos, looking seductively at the camera.

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding Mila’s look for the campaign but the fact she's been papped out and about with hottie Ashton Kutcher has made her even more of a news story of late (lucky you Mila, we're a bit green-eyed about that). In a recent interview Mila spoke of her love for Dior, saying the designs are "very classic, very consistent, really elegant, and really beautiful." Too right.

Mila’s beauty look for the campaign re calls a 1960’s Audrey glam and the Paris couture house confirmed to us that it was created by renowned make-up artist Tracey Levy, who has worked extensively with Mila in the past (including on That 70’s Show). The basis of the look is a dark and heavy purplely-brown smoky eye, with black liner that extends from the top and bottom lashes to form a contemporary cat-eye. Oh and that strong, lean brow is bang on trend, along with those contoured cheeks and nude glossy lip. We love! But our real obsession is her sexy hair-do - she sports a shoulder length bob-cut with her top layer back-combed, pulled into a Barbarella bouffant (we told you in this week's issue that it’s all the rage) and held back by a large black bow clip. Divine.

Along with this elegant new campaign and Black Swan last year, Mila has danced to the top of her game but she remains very down to earth about the new title. "I appreciate the attention, but I don’t think of mys elf as particularly attractive," she said, "I do have a pretty sharp sense of humour though and I think that has helped me." It's all going on for Mila: a new campaign, a new beau and a hot new beauty look, everything seems to be going swell in the world of Mila. Watch the video and be enthralled...

How-To: Get Marilyn Monroe's Iconic Make Up With These Tips From Blogger Tanya Burr

Last week we asked blogger Tanya Burr to give us her top tips on getting the Victoria's Secret model looks. This week we asked her to tell us how to get Marilyn Monroe's iconic makeup as we continue our series marking 50 years since the screen siren's death.

As a massive fan of the look herself, calling it "classically beautiful" Tanya's look is inspired by Marilyn's makeup from the 1950's. Keep reading to find out how to get it - with a few tips that are exclusively for Grazia Daily!

Skin

You need to apply a lightweight, glowing foundation with medium coverage in order to get healthy, flawless looking skin. Then conceal any blemishes that you can still see after applying the foundation.

Apply a pink or cor al toned blush to the apples of the cheeks, choose a blush with a subtle shimmer in to highlight the face. Take a matte bronzer and buff a little of it into the hollows of the cheeks for a contoured look.

Add the signature Marilyn Monroe beauty spot using a brown pencil.

Eyes

Marylin's brows were a very unique shape, they were quite thick and arched so take a brow pencil or powder and enhance the shape of your brows.

Apply an off-white coloured eyeshadow all over the lid, followed by a light brown matte eyeshadow through the crease. Then you will need a black or brown gel eyeliner, apply a very fine line of this along the top lash line. If you struggle with applying gel eyeliner then try using an angled brush as it will give you more control.

Apply a light creamy coloured eye pencil along the waterline to open up the eyes and make them appear brighter.

Give the lashes a good coating of mascara. Then apply a set of corner lashes - Marilyn always wore corner lashes!  If you don't have a set of corner lashes, just take a full set of lashes and snip them in half! Just make sure you choose a set that are the right length for your lashes.

Lips

Line the lips with a deep red lip pencil, then fill in the lips with a slightly lighter red lipstick. Finish with lots of clear lipgloss as Marilyn always had glossy lips to make them appear bigger!

Watch her video below for more tips.

For more on Marilyn, see our gallery of 15 starlets who have attempted to fill Ms Monroe’s stilettos.

Are Rachel Bilson And Miley Cyrus' Faux Under-Cuts Cool Or Try-Hard?

Under-cuts look darned cool don't they? Rihanna, Lourdes, Miley and Rachel all looked super edgy and rock-chic with theirs....WAIT A MINUTE, there are two fakers among this half-head-of-hair crew.

It seems the bravest hair trend of the summer has gone soft on us. Miley and Rachel have managed to create the appearance of an under-cut without actually shaving their heads! Scaredy-cat fashionistas unite! We can now sport the trend without tears at the hairdressers. That's awesome, right?

Well, we're torn in Grazia HQ. As much as we're excited that we have the edgy 'do at our gel-covered fingertips, maybe faking an under-cut is a little lame? Undercuts seem mega hardcore because they involve mega hardcore commitme nt to an edgy appearance. Like tattoos and piercings, once you've got one their's no going back (at least for a good while).

There's no denying that Bilson and Cyrus look HOT with their severe side partings, but perhaps an under-cut that you can brush out after a couple of hours just isn't that cool, no matter how good it looks.

Do you agree?

Trend Alert! The Red Lip & Smoky Eye Combo Returns Thanks To Jessica Biel, Emmy Rossum & Jaime King

Trend Alert! The Red Lip & Smoky Eye Combo Returns Thanks To Jessica Biel, Emmy Rossum & Jaime King | Grazia Beauty

As usual, we’ve been keeping a beady eye out for some hot new makeup trends and to keep you guys updated (aren't we nice!) and we’ve noticed a bit of a thing going on. Well you see, everyone from Jessica Biel to Emmy Rossum seems to have gone makeup mad recently and we kinda love it. Yes, we’re talking a full face of maquillage girls, including a smoky eye AND red lip. Wowza! Now you may be thinking overload/too much/not happening and normally we like to stick by the rule of less is more with our makeup and opt for just one or t’other, but if the celebs are anything to go by (and they do know best after all) then you’ll want to hot up your makeup and pile of the products.

It's actually a trend we first saw backstage at the Autumn Winter '12 shows, so perhaps the Hollywood glitterati have been taking inspo from the pro's. At Ashley Isham the models wore a tonne of makeup including a glossy red lip teamed with a dark smoky eye:

Ashley Isham AW12

And wow it packed quite a punch didn't it! Over at Michael Kors, we spotted one of our favourite models, the lovely Jourdan Dunn working another type of sexy red lip and a much softer smoky eye, oh and some killer pink blush too. This is more the look we think we'd try to emulate on a night out (as much as we love you Ashley), as it's a little easier on the eye and won't frighten any potential suitors away:

Michael Kors AW12

The whole smoky eye and red lip is a killer look though girls and an easy one to do - just pile on a few layer s of rich red lipstick and dig out your smoky eye palette and hey presto, you'll be up to a Jessica Biel standard in no time. Don't be shy to pile it on, the more the better is the way to do it. Check out our gallery above to see the top celeb looks in full swing...

Want a Body Like Cameron Diaz? Now You Can - Her Fitness Club is Coming To London! | Grazia Beauty

It’s fairly rare that Grazia Daily HQ gets in a right old fluster, but when we heard that America’s premiere fitness facility is opening its doors to us flabby Britons, there were audible yelps of excitement. Namely about the possibility of finally achieving Miley Cyrus’s abs!

Equinox, the high powered fitness club that boasts Cameron Diaz, Leann Rimes, Drew Barrymore and Bradley Cooper amongst its members (imagine bumping into him at the water fountain!) will finally launching on London’s High Street Kensington, this October.

And with a whopping 55 clubs across the US, any frequent visitor to the States will be aware of its notoriety, as well as its serious perks. We are talking about on-site luxury clothing store’s and locker rooms stuffed with dreamy Kiehl’s products. It's the stuff that dreams are made of. Us Grazia gals are particularly excited about the eucalyptus infused towels and 24 carat gold facials rumoured to be on offer - suddenly, a night at gym doesn’t seem like such a chore after all!

Also provided are creative classes such as Shockwave, developed by World Champion Rower, Josh Crosby, which focuses on blending team competition with self-motivation and Barre Burn which is inspired by movement and the graceful physique of a dancer. Sounds interesting to us - we are envisioning our graceful Darcy Bussell-esque moves already.

Even if you don’t fancy an extensive workout, there is no doubt that Equinox will be the place to see and be seen (and at £180 per month it should be). Chief executive Harvey Spevak, expects Equinox to attract the same "active, type-A personality" customers as it does in Manhattan. Well, we like the sound of that.

Take a lo ok at our gallery for an insight into Equinox's existing clientele.

What Happened To The Beautiful Faces Of The Original Supermodels? Now We Find Out.

The original supermodels fess up about their beauty

Ever wondered what happened to the original supermodels? Well thanks to a hot new beauty documentary, we might just find out. Our friends across the pond in the Big Apple or more specifically filmmaker Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, has made a documentary movie entitled ‘About Face: The Supermodels, Then and Now’ which gets the inside scoop on just how those beauties are looking now. And we’re talking the big dogs girls, like Jerry Hall, Isabella Rossellini and Lisa Taylor (who talks openly about her cocaine addiction). The models give away lots of juicy deets about the industry, the naughty things they got up to and how it’s changed for the new-comers of today’s modelling world. Sounds right up our street then!

Androgynous but uber-chic Ms. Rossellini acknowledged that ageing is a bummer. “My social status has diminished because I know I’m not invited to the A parties anymore,” she said. “My daughter is. As you grow older, you don’t count anymore.” Along with the other runway legends we get an inside view of their fascinating lives at the time when their careers were at a peak. Greenfield-Sanders was eager to explore “the power of beauty and fame, what that does to your ego, what it does to you when that fades.” Talking about the models themselves, he went on to say, “Even though you may feel that moment is gone, that you’ve been marginalized, you don’t want to give up,” he said. “You still want to be in the world, making a mark on the world.”

The documentary was actually shown at the Sundance Film Festival and isn’t the first from Mr. Greenfiel d-Sanders but his latest work will be relevant to several generations of women although most likely the older ones who can relate to whats Jerry Hall and co. are saying.  Sheila Nevins, the film’s producer, thinks that older women in particular “may find something special in the fact that beauty continues on some level, through either artifice or confidence”. Ms. Nevins, the president of HBO Documentary Films, went on to say, “Beautiful women getting older, women who decay, that’s always intriguing,” -especially when their livelihoods rest on their looks! “They are their own instruments. What do you do when you’re a Stradivarius and you’re losing your strings?”

The gorgeously silver-haired Carmen Dell’Orefice, still striking poses at 81, makes an appearance in the documentary along with Karen Bjornson, a former star for Halston.  Talking of her eye lift, Ms. Bjornson said, “It was money well spent, getting the product in shape again.” As you can imagine, the documentary was a roaring success over in the States with women everywhere tuning in to get the model goss. Now we’re just hoping it will air over here too so we can see the secrets ourselves. We’ll keep you posted girls and in the meantime, check out the trailor:

We're Going Camo Like Rihanna, Will You Follow Too?

Today's new issue

Tuesday can only mean one thing girls… Grazia! Yep, the new and hot-off-the-press issue is on news-stands and is filled with some rather tip-top stories, if we do say so ourselves. Best of all, you can get the scoop on the hottest new nails shades taking the beauty world by storm. They’re kinda hard to spot because they are camouflage, literally! In fact, when we think of a camo nail we instantly think of Rihanna and her army-esque ensembles, so hope this is a trend she might take note of and start wearing on those ghetto-fabulous hands of hers. Come of RiRi, we know you're a big Grazia fans so do us a favour and don an army nail. Pleaseee!

Grazia Team Beauty is pretty obsessed, as you can probably tell, and we’re finding it hard to pick our No.1 shade. One member of the team has even gone so far as try a different colour on every nail - crazy! The trick with this one is to do at leasts 2 coats of colour, maybe even 3, to achieve a uniform and intense shade of green. And always finish with a glossy top coat to give the colour shine. Here we’ve picked our top nail shades as chosen by Grazia Team Beauty…

Liz Hambleton, Beauty Director: “I love YSL La Laque Couture in Khaki Arty, £ because it’s the perfect trans-seasonal shade that will take me into Autumn in style.”

Angelica Hermon, Beauty Co-ordinator: “My fave is Dior Vernis in 608 because I love a deep khaki colour in my wardrobe as well as on my hands and this one hits it’s bang on the head.”

Marianne Jones, Deputy Editor: “I’m a big fan of Mavala Nail Varnish in Bronze Green because it’s got a slight pearlescent shimmer to it and is a really flattering shade of green.”

Rose Beer, Beauty Writer:“My top choice is Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Frenzy, £xx because it’s not too dark which means I can wear it now with my summer dresses and not feel too dark and autumnal yet.”

Emily Maddick, New Editor: “Nails Inc. Nail Varnish in Foubert’s Place, £xx is just to die for – it’s that perfect shade of brown-meets-green which I love wearing on my toes so for me it’s No.1.”

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester Asked For This Eyeliner to be Made and Now You Can Buy It Too!

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester Asked For This Eyeliner to be Made and Now You Can Buy It Too! | Grazia Beauty

We spend a good proportion of our time drooling over our favourite Gossip Girls here at Grazia Daily HQ, so imagine our excitement when we heard that both Blake and Leighton loved a particular eyeliner so much that they've demanded more to be made in a brand new hue. Crikey! I mean we may not be able to magic Blake’s figure or Leighton’s hair, but now we can apparently master their makeup.

So, word on the grapevine goes that the two Upper East Siders were so impressed by Eyeko’s smudge -free , super resistant Skinny Liquid Eyeliner on the Gossip Girl set, that they requested more colours. And since Serena and Blake always get what they want (oh, to have their life), Eyeko have brought out a brand new purple shade to accompany the blac k, olive, navy blue and brown shades already in the range.

And apparently, it's just as popular this side of the pond… cool cats like Alexa Chung, Rita Ora and Fearne Cotton are all fans too. And if the Gossip Girls' recent beauty looks are anything to go by, we can see why - remember how much Ms Lively rocked it at the Savages premiere back in June?

So how to perfect their gamine flicks? Top make up artist Polly Osmond advises, "For professional make-up results start mid-way and dot across the upper lid as close to the lashes as possible, then simply join the dots for an accurately lined eye".

All the Graziettes are loving the high-fashion shade which is not only a great alternative to black but is perfect for the cat eye trend this Autumn. And if taking note of Blake and Leighton's top beauty picks gets us any closer to looking as damn gorgeous as they do, then we'll be happy. Take a look at our gallery for some inspiration from the beauties themselves. All Eyes On The Upper East Side!

Selena Gomez Updates Her Hair With This Season's Must Have Florence Fringe!

Selena Gomez Updates Her Hair With This Season's Must Have Florence Fringe! | Grazia Beauty

It was only two weeks ago now that Grazia's beauty section revealed the Ten Hottest Hair Updates of guaranteed to take you into next season in style.  Then on Grazia Daily that week we tried a few of the looks out ourselves, to work out which one we’d all be working next season.  It was Grazia intern Alice chose the ‘Florence Fringe’ and carried it off in such style that no less than three Graziettes were spotted dashing to the nearest hairdresser for the chop.

And why not? After all you’ll definitely be following the fashion pack - We spotted this fringe at more than 25 autumn/winter shows back in February.  Plus, we figure what better way to channel our fave songstress Florence Welsh! Right?  This season’s new bangs are super blunt, brow -grazing and rock n’roll to fit with fashion’s ‘I’m with the band’ fetish.  “Fringes are fun and give you oodles of extra character,” said mane man Paul Hanlon at Marni where he custom-cut heavy, Penelope Tree-inspired hair pieces.

The Fringes at Marni and Iceburg

And now Justin Bieber’s gorgeous girlfriend Selena Gomez has also joined the fringe club, cutting long heavy bangs into her brunette tresses.  Don't you thinks its a really fashion-forward step on from the very nice but not overly-crazy straightened locks that she has been sporting for quite some time now? She looks a bit cooler, a bit more grown up and really quite roc k and roll!

Starlette Selena picked Twitter to reveal her new ‘do’ saying 'New hair for a new movie :) I love changing my hair!'  We suspect that the role in question is likely to be for her 2013 film, The Getaway where she’ll be playing ‘kid’ with Ethan Hawke, Bruce Payne and Jon Voight. What do you think of the her new look and will you be giving the fringe a go?

Check out the gallery above for some inspiration

Freja Beha Dishes On Her Role As The Face Of Valentino's New Fragrance: EXCLUSIVE

Calling all Graziettes! We've got a special EXCLUSIVE for you on this sunny morning which comes in the form of some very exciting news - model du jour Freja Beha is announced today as the face of the new Valentino fragrance Valentina Assoluto. Eeeek! We are beyond excited that one of our favourite models AND a top fashion brand have joined up, undoubtedly a winning combo dontcha think?! Even better girls, we've managed to scoop an exclusive interview with Freja, just for you! Just before you click and purchase yourself a bottle (and FYI you're going to die over the vanilla and patchouli notes in this beauty), read on for some seriously juicy fragrance gossip from Freja...

Freja in the new campaign

Grazia Daily: How does it feel to be the face of a new fragrance?

Freja Beha: I was really honored to have been chosen to represent the new Valentino fragrance. Doing Valentino fashion campaigns and now fragrance at the same time is such an opportunity and is a fabulous experience.

GD: Why do you think you were chosen?

FB: Difficult to say… but I think it is because of my personality. Valentina is a sweet yet an unconventional girl, she cares for the people she loves, but she has a rebellious side and especially wants to be free and have fun. Of, course she is not denying where she is from, nor am I, but she is young and wants the world to be open to her. She wants to have access to what every person of her age has access to – art, music, fashion… This is how I feel and I am lucky to be able to do what I like and want today.

GD: What do you think of the fragrance?

FB: It is fresh and sensual. I find it u nusual and captivating. I like the way is evolves on my skin. I love the bottle with its 3 pastel color flowers and vintage cap. It really reminds me of some pieces of Valentino fashion. It gives a chic feel but also expresses something delicate, feminine yet modern and strong.

GD: For the TV Campaign you were directed by Johan Renck, how was it to work together?

FB: It was wonderful working with Johan. I had never worked with him before. He is Swedish, I am Danish. We have quite the same sense of humor. We had a lot of giggles along the way. His humor is Scandinavian. It is dark. I picked up on it instantly. It was like being with a friend that I was working with.

GD: The film is very cinematographic. You play a role. How did you feel about acting?

FB: It was a lot different from what I normally do. So, this was definitely out of my comfort zone.  I am so used to doing still pictures which I have been doing for over 6 years. So, it was a challenge. But, it was a lot of fun and really enjoyed having to act and express feelings and emotions. I was like being in an Italian film walking in the streets of Rome, called by paparazzi, having fun with friends and being in authentic locations.

GD: What does Rome represent for you ?

FB: I love Rome and really loved shooting the TV campaign in this sumptuous city. Before that, I hadn’t been there in years. We shot in beautiful locations and I got to see a lot of the city. I love feeling the emotion of Rome. Every time you turn on a corner, there is a majestic building. I love the contrasts of this city that show its history through the different architectural artworks. This and the atmosphere make Rome a very special place.

GD: You do Valentino campaigns and star in Valentino shows. What is your idea of Valentino?

FB: Valentino is about elegance, sophis tication. It is very contemporary and sensual and has a romantic twist. It is ultra feminine and beautiful. The dress that I am wearing in the TV campaign is by far my favorite dress from the Spring Summer 2011 collection. It is very feminine and chic. It is a little rock and roll with its leather fringes, very elegant and sensual and I love that combination!

GD: To stay beautiful, with an extremely busy agenda, do you have tips to share ?

FB: To be honest, I do not have any really. I am quite “natural” in the sense that I do not worry too much about the way I look and like a casual look.  However, I do use a quality moisturizer night and morning. I do not wear makeup if I do not need to. I want my skin to breath so I make sure it is clean before I go to bed and after wearing makeup for work. When I go out, I like a line black kohl eyeliner on my eyes. For my hair, I just spray it with a texturizing product to give it so me texture and then mess it up a little with my fingers.

Valentino Valentina Assoluto EDP, from £61, is launching today, exclusively at Harvey Nichols & Harrods.

Dolce & Gabbana Announce Laetitia Casta As The New Face Of Pour Femme Fragrance

Dolce & Gabbana Announce Laetitia Casta As The New Face Of Pour Femme Fragrance | Grazia Beauty

Thankfully it’s another sunny day and with it comes some exciting and bright fragrance news: Dolce & Gabbana have announced a new glamorous face for their original sent Pour Femme!

Hot off the fashion house press, it’s been confirmed that Laetitia Casta, the French model and actress who’s no stranger to being the fabulous face of beauty campaigns (she’s been a L’Oreal spokesperson for over 10 years) is fronting the campaign and, according to the designers, Laetita is just right for now. Why?  According to Domenico and Stefano, “Laetitia has always bewitched us with her sensual and natural charisma: she is the perfect interpretation of a Dolce&Gabbana woman of today”.

First launched in 1992, this relaunch of the Pour Femme fragrance is a finely tuned version of the iconic scent, with Neroli and Raspberry notes thrown into the classic mix.  Following Dolce & Gabbana tradition, Mario Testino took the visual reigns and shot the ad campaign with Laetita, creating a ‘scene of fairytale romance in the Italian tradition’.  What more would you want from a fragrance?

Joining the other faces of Dolce & Gabbana beauty, Felicity Jones, Scarlett Johansson and Monica Bellucci, Laetita adds a French twist to the international string of the Dolce & Gabbana beauty bow.  Will Laetita follow in the footsteps of her fellow Dolce & Gabbana faces and front the make-up collection too?  We can only hope.

The fragrance launches exclusively at Harrods on 22nd July and nationwide on 22nd August 2012. Check out Laetita in her role as L’Oreal spokesperson below. Do you think she's going to make a good Dolce girl?

Nail Polish That Changes Colour In The Sunshine!

Remember mood rings that changed colour with the heat of your body, I mean, your mood? Perhaps you once had a hypercolour t-shirt that switched shade with differing temperatures? Now there's a new super-techy colour changing product - a line of nail varnish that transform in the sun!

Ruby Wing polishes contain 'photochromic' technology meaning that, depending on the levels of sunlight, the polish will be one of two very different colours. The polishes are created by American beauty brand Color Club who make varnishes laced with fun technology, from crackle top coats to neon and magnetic varnishes and gold leaf for your nails.

The names of the polishes are very mood ring-esque, ranging from 'Moonstone' to 'Zen Garden' and from 'Myth' to 'Eclipse'. Don't panic though, that's as far as the hippy vibes go. The colours switch for pastel lilacs to mauves, from cherry reds to maroons and from lemons to peaches. There are also glitter shades which is always good.

Plus, when they were trialed by Fashionista, the polishes help up pretty well and the color transitions happened quickly as members of the team moved from inside to outside. MAGIC!

Ruby Wing have promised new colours and seasonal collections for those who are easily bored. The polishes will be available off the Color Club site from August and we can't wait!!

How-To: Get The Victoria's Secret Makeup Look By Blogger Tanya Burr

Since the UK's first Victoria's Secret store opened yesterday we have been feeling super inspired by the beauty look of the VS Angels. We just can't stop craving the glowing skin, smouldering eyes and glossy lips of the likes of Rosie-Huntington Whiteley, Adriana Lima and Miranda Kerr. To find out how to get their makeup, we spoke to Tanya Burr, a blogger who knows what it takes! Tanya has recreated the makeup and hair of more than 10 of the angels on her YouTube beauty channel. Now she's told Grazia Daily what you need to get Victoria's Secret glam!

1. Firstly you need to take a luminous medium coverage foundation, the luminosity in the foundation will give you that VS Angel glow, whilst the medium coverage will perfect your skin w ithout making it look caked in makeup. I love the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation.
2. Next you need to take a shimmery gold eyeshadow, I love MAC Woodwinked, and sweep it across the lid.
3. Blend a brown shimmery eye pencil into the roots of your top and bottom lash line (note, we're using brown not black to create a softer smoky eye)
4. Apply lots of mascara and a set of natural looking false eyelashes - individual lashes are best!
5. To finish off your skin you will need to add bronzer to get that sun kissed look that all the VS Angels have, then apply a peachy pink coloured blush to the apples of your cheeks. Choose a blush with a subtle shimmer in it to add extra glow to your skin.
6. Lastly use a shimmery light peach toned gloss on your lips, something like MAC Love Nectar or Laura Mercier Bellini would be perfect!
And there you have it - a Victoria's Secret Angel makeup look!

Check out Tanya's videos below to see how to get the looks of Miranda Kerr and Rosie Huntington Whiteley or visit her YouTube channel for more beauty videos.

The Only Way Is Essex's Lydia Bright Dishes On Her Beauty Secrets: EXCLUSIVE

The Only Way Is Essex's Lydia Bright Dishes On Her Beauty Secrets: EXCLUSIVE

The Only Way Is Essex has returned to our telly boxes - hurrah! In celebration, we grabbed a chat with the radiant Lydia Bright, who has just taken part in the St. Ives ‘Seven Day Challenge’. To encourage young women to embrace their natural beauty and cut down on the hours spent applying make-up, The TOWIE star posed for a make-up free photo shoot (after having a good facial scrub, that is). Doesn't she look beaut? So listen up as Lyds dishes on her beauty secrets, from beating spots to her favourite food...

Grazia Daily: What epitomises beauty in your eyes?
Lydia Bright: I think there is nothing more beautiful than a smile, a natural complexion and a radiant g low makes everyone beautiful.

Grazia Daily: What is your top beauty secret?
Lydia Bright: My fave beauty secret is to apply sudocream on a spot overnight. The next morning it will dry out the spot and calm down the swelling.

Grazia Daily: Why is a good scrub essential to your beauty regime?
Lydia Bright: A good scrub is essential to your weekly beauty regime. I swear by St Ives Apricot Invigorating Facial Scrub and use it three times a week. It helps make my skin look brighter and more radiant and gives me the confidence to wear less make-up.

Grazia Daily: Have you had any beauty disasters?
Lydia Bright: When I was younger I always used to have beauty disasters but as you grow up you begin to realise less is more.

Grazia Daily: Is there one beauty trend you'd like to try but haven't been brave enough to?
Lydia Bright: I would love to try bright prints on my nails but I always get scared they will clash with my outfits.

Grazia Daily: Are there people you allow to see you without make-up?
Lydia Bright: Yes - my family, friends and Tom always see me without make-up.

Grazia Daily: Which modern-day beauties do you admire?
Lydia Bright: I love Blake Lively she constantly smiles and always looks so beautiful and happy.

Grazia Daily: You always look glam on the red carpet - how do you do it?
Lydia Bright: I love getting ready for a red carpet event so I put many hours into preparing for the event. I normally hire a make-up artist to do my face and hair so this always helps :D

Grazia Daily: How do you stay in such amazing shape?
Lydia Bright: I try to incorporate exercise in my daily life but I'm not a big fan of generic gym workouts. I do love to go swimming a couple of times a week and there is an amazing Virgin Active near where I live with a large pool, so I go there. I also love my bike, following the charity bike ride I did with Denise for GOSH earlier in the year, and am going to do the Cycle part of the Virgin London Triathlon in September with Zoe Hardman and Amy Guy which will be fun. I also try and walk as much as I can and I love eating healthy food. Sashimi sushi is my fave.

Is Zooey Deschanel's New Beauty Look Inspired By Kate Middleton?

Is Zooey Deschanel's New Beauty Look Inspired By Kate Middleton? | Grazia Beauty

A perfectly blow-dried mane of sleek brunette hair, a slick of black liquid liner and a cobalt blue Monique Lhullier shift dress. You’d be forgiven for not recognising the star of New Girl, Zooey Deschanel, at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening. Or for thinking that she looks a lot like someone else we know. Yep, you guessed it. K Mid.

Gone were the loose waves of earlier this year, the blunt fringe and the super long eyelashes. In their place Zooey sported a softer, more polished look for the red carpet – wraparound eyeliner, piecey bangs and the faintest sign of a well-sculpted Scouse brow. All very Duchess of Cambridge, non?

Deschanel even seems to have adopted Kate’s fashion sense for the awards ceremony on Sunday, pairing her waist-cinching shift dress with an uber demure Jimmy Choo box clutch and kitten heels. There wasn’t a black opaque tight in sight!

But what do you think of Zooey’s glossy new look, seen again at the Fox All Stars party where she wore a gold shift and heels last night? Is Zooey channeling our very own Kate Middleton? Take a look through our gallery and make up your mind. Grazia Daily love a good style influence, and we can’t help but expect nude court shoes next…

A Sneak Peek At Chanel's Makeup Pop-Up Store In Covent Garden!

A Sneak Peek At Chanel's Makeup Pop-Up Store In Covent Garden! | Grazia Beauty

OMG! Chanel's pop-up store has officially landed. Grazia Daily went to get a sneaky peak of the newest, bestest beauty destination in London before it opens to the public tomorrow and we have to say - it looks gorgeous!

The store in Covent Garden was still under lock and key when we went to spy on what was inside, although Laura Bailey had already paid it a visit. We could see manicure stations, makeup gurus, stylists and much much more. The nail varnish and makeup displays look chic and delightful, the colour scheme is black and white (Obv) and their are CC's glowing in the windows.

Outside there are spherical trees with white blossom and stern looking security guards, along with four minis painted the colours of Chanel lipsticks!

We'll be reporting from inside the store from 5pm, but for now take a look through our gallery of outside snapshots!
